Case Study

Elevating TORLYS for a New Era.

A digital transformation blending design, emotion, and accessibility.

TORLYS, a leader in innovative flooring solutions, set out to evolve its brand from trade-focused to emotionally resonant—shifting from a contractor-driven narrative to one that inspires homeowners, designers, and specifiers alike. The task was to modernize the brand without compromising its credibility among architects, builders, and commercial partners. This required a digital-first approach, a refreshed brand identity, and an improved user experience that balanced inspiration with functionality.

Creative Direction & Brand Refresh.

The brand refresh was as much a strategic shift as a visual one. It introduced a lighter colour palette, refined typography using the Inter font family, and minimal, editorial-inspired layouts. Photography and CGI content were completely reimagined—capturing real environments, people, and craftsmanship to convey authenticity and warmth. New team portraits, product imagery, and video assets brought the brand to life, moving from purely functional representation to emotionally driven storytelling. The result positioned TORLYS as a design-minded, end-user–focused brand that still resonates with professional audiences.

Designed for discovery.

The new website embodied the refreshed identity through a digital-first, product-led experience. Layouts and navigation were designed to feel light, modern, and breathable, emphasizing intuitive product discovery and a strong visual hierarchy. Clear segmentation ensured the platform served both consumers and professionals, with tailored sections for resources like spec sheets, project galleries, and technical data. Short-form storytelling, motion, and modular components enhanced engagement while maintaining clarity. A cohesive design system unified the interface—balancing consistency in typography, spacing, and rhythm across all touchpoints.
